ACCREDITATION OF JOURNALISTS AND OTHER MEDIA PRACTITIONERS

ACCREDITATION OF JOURNALISTS AND OTHER MEDIA PRACTITIONERS

In response to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 related infections, the Zimbabwe Media Commission (ZMC) will be carrying out accreditation of journalists and other media practitioners on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 0900-1230 hours.

The Commission has taken this move in view of the Government’s call to decongest workplaces to curb the spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

Journalists and other media practitioners intending to be accredited at the ZMC offices at the Media Centre in Harare should come on the set days and times to avoid any inconveniences.

The ZMC calls upon the media to continue playing its critical role is educating and informing the Zimbabwean people on the COVID-19 pandemic.  It is through such news and information that the Zimbabwean people can best arm themselves in the fight against this pandemic.

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO MASK UP, WASH HANDS AND TO OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING.
