26 Feb CONGRATULATION MESSAGE: COMMISSIONER SUSAN MAKORE
The Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Media Commission, Professor Ruby
Magosvongwe, Commissioners and Staff of the Zimbabwe Media Commission would
like to send their congratulatory message to Commissioner Susan Makore on her
appointment as the Advisory Manager of Women in News (WIN) which is under the
World Association of News Publishers.
The ZMC is elated with the appointment of Commissioner Makore as her rich
experience in the media coupled with her new role as the Advisory Manager will
enrich the work of the Commission. Commissioner Makore has been in the media
sector for a long time stretching from the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation, being
the Chief Executive Officer of AB Communications as well as a media trainer and
mentor. This new experience which she is bringing to the Commission will definitely
add value to programmes that Commission will be embarking on.
The Commission hopes and believes that her new appointment will bring those
linkages that will benefit the Commission as her new organisation operates in eight
different African countries, including Zimbabwe.
The ZMC wishes Commissioner Makore all the best in her new endeavour in her
already chosen journey in the media sector. What has only changed is the lane she
has switched to.
