The Zimbabwe Media Commission (ZMC), in line with Section 41 of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) as read with Statutory Instrument 169C of 2002, is reviewing registration fees for mass media services and accreditation fees for media practitioners for the year 2021. The fees have already been sent for gazetting through the line Ministry.

Once the fees have been gazetted through publication in the Government Gazette, the ZMC will inform all stakeholders on the commencement of the accreditation process for 2021. The ZMC, as has been done in the past, will advise stakeholders on outreach accreditation visits to all centres in the country.
The Commission take this opportunity to advise all media houses to renew their registration licences in compliance with the law.
